WHAT ARE YOUR INTENTIONS?
God knows you better than you know yourself. It does not matter what you do He knows the intentions of your heart (1 Chronicles 28:9, Genesis 6:5, 1 Kings 8:39). You may be able to fool many people, but you cannot fool or mock God (Galatians 6:7). President Lincoln said: “You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.” God would agree with that statement, but then He would say: “You cannot fool Me any of the time.”
The next quotation comes from the apostle Paul in Romans 14:5-8 – “One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks. For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.”
What is the main point the apostle Paul wants to make? His point is that it does not much matter what we do, one way or the other, because what really matters is with what intent we are doing it. He gave you some examples, but I will give you a few more, so that it will be clear in your mind. For example: The members of the Seventh Day Adventist Church think that unless you attend church services on a Saturday you will wind up in hell and not in heaven. Nothing could be further from the truth.
God looks at the reason why you go to church and not what day of the week you attend it. If you are sincere, God is present even if your church is at any hour of the day, and on any day of the week. It could even be in a cave or under a tree. The venue does not matter to God. What matters to Him is that you honor, praise and worship Him in spirit.
We celebrate Christ’s birth on the 25th of December, yet most theologians know that He was not even born in that month. However if we celebrate it with the correct frame of mind and we offer that day and season to honor God, He will receive it as such. If we think of Christmas season as one of having parties, getting drunk, buying gifts and receiving them, God is not going to be pleased with us. It has become too commercialized!
Why do we donate money to the church or to charities? If we do it to get a tax write-off, God is not going to honor that, but if we do it from the goodness of our hearts, God will definitely be glad we did it. It all depends on the intent of our hearts. Do you help somebody because you are expecting something in return or do you do it because you sincerely want to help that person?
I hope I made the point abundantly clear that God is not a rigid god. He is flexible as to how, when or where you do things, but inflexible when it comes as to why you do them. It is your righteous intent that matters, not necessarily the results, the time, the place or anything else.

IF YOU WERE MEANDERING, MEANDER NO MORE
Many people have been lost in the road of life all of their lives. They meander without any idea as to where they are going. They keep on driving without a GPS, a road map or any advice from people who know the way. What is even worse, they do not even want to know how to get to their final destination. Consequently most of them never arrive to their appointed place that has been set up for them by God before the foundation of the earth.
We cannot get to a specific place, unless we have chosen it in advance, and have made plans how to get there, which in this case it is heaven. We have to know what road or roads to take. We will not get there by wishful thinking or just by chance. The road of life is not a ten-lane freeway that is straight as an arrow. It has many curves, turns and ups and downs. We need to be attentive, alert and flexible enough to make changes when necessary.
When driving through the road of life we have to watch out for all the possible hazards that may arise. In it we will run into roadblocks, detours, road construction, road closures and many other things. In order to drive through it successfully we need wisdom, patience, flexibility and help from God. When all the roads are closed and we are stuck God can make a new road just for us.
When we are lost in the road of life and do not know which way to go, all we have to do is look at God’s road map. That of course is the Bible. The latter is better than any GPS that the automobile companies have invented. If we read the Bible and meditate on it, it will point us in the correct direction. It will not point us to any of the four cardinal points, but it will point us toward Jesus Christ.
In geometry we know that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Through God’s word we know that the shortest distance between man and God is through God’s Son Jesus Christ. In John 14:6, Jesus Himself said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me.” It cannot be any clearer than that.
If you are meandering aimlessly through the road of life, and you have never chosen the only road that leads to heaven, do it now. If you don’t know how to find it, read the following prayer several times, and when you, more or less, understand it, pray it to God aloud in all sincerity and humility. God will hear you, and you will be on the highway to heaven.
“Father God, I repent of all my sins. I ask You to forgive me. I confess and declare that Jesus is Your Son, that He suffered, died and resurrected on the third day to pay for my sins. I ask Him to be my Lord and Savior, as well as asking the Holy Spirit to live in me. Thank You Father God! Amen.”
If you prayed that prayer, God heard you and has forgiven all your sins, no matter how big or horrendous they may have been. You are a new person. Keep coming back to my blog and tell your friends about it.

THINK BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY DECISIONS
Before making any decisions that will affect you and maybe even other people consult God and think of the consequences. There are three ways of consulting God. One, read the Bible and see what it has to say about the decision you are about to make. The Bible covers just about every topic that may come up. By reading it you will know the will of God in your particular situation. Two, Ask God to speak to you through the Holy Spirit. If it is not God’s will for you to do it, you will have an uneasy feeling. If you are supposed to do it, you will feel confident. Three, Ask somebody who is deeply grounded in Christ, such as your pastor, which way you should go. It is always good to get an outside opinion from a person or two who are close to God and close to you.
Just as it is an excellent idea to get the opinion of somebody close to God, it is also a good practice to get the opinion of people who are experts in the particular field involving you decision. They can advice you one way or the other. Even if you do not follow their advice, for whatever reason, at least you will see the situation from a different perspective and that is invaluable.
Every decision will have a short-term consequence or a long-term one. You have to foresee how your decision will affect you and how it will affect other people in the long run. If the long-term decision will affect you or other people in a negative way, by all means weigh the pros and cons. If the pros outweigh the cons, do it; if the cons outweigh the pros, don’t do it. If it helps you make a list of the pros and cons.
Even if you think that the decision only has short-term consequences or it is not important enough for you to worry about it, still go through the steps necessary to decide which way you should go. Never take decisions affecting other people lightly. Many personal relationships have been completely destroyed by a wrong decision on somebody’s part. Some people are extremely sensitive and what may seem trivial to you is important to them.
It is a very poor practice to make decisions on the spur of the moment. If the decision is truly important take time to investigate, to think about it, to consult other people and to pray to God about it. Do not fall prey to the salespeople who tell you they have an excellent deal for you, but you have to give them an immediate response because the deal will not be available after that. In most cases the best thing to do under those circumstances is to walk away.
It is believed that we make around thirty-five thousand decisions every single day. Yes, many of them are so small that we make them without thinking. Most of them do not bring us any consequences, but if they do they are very insignificant. Those consequences do not bring us any negative results. That being the case, continue making those decisions automatically without stopping to think or trying to evaluate them, but do not forget to give special attention to the important ones. 5/13/2020

Many people are slaves, and if that were not bad enough they don’t even realize they are slaves. They are slaves to their past. Maybe somebody told them something negative years ago, and they received it and believed it to be true. It could be that when they were children some adult told them, “You will never amount to anything.” The person received it, believed it and is living his or her life accordingly. That person is in bondage.
While it is exceptionally good to listen to sound advice from people who are experienced in life or in a certain field, one has to be extremely careful not to receive negative input. After all we are who God made us to be and who we know we are. Nobody else has the right to tell us who we are. With God’s help, perseverance and determination we can accomplish just about anything we set our minds to do.
Being that we do not know everything and that we do not have talents in every area sometimes we are going to fail at something. Failing at something however does not make us failures and it should not define our lives. It simply means we did not have all the information necessary, we are not gifted in that area, it was not the right timing, it was not the correct place, the circumstances changed or we were dealing with the wrong people.
The people we consider to be successful have failed several times at something, but they did not let that hold them back from going forward. Successful people keep on trying and trying until they reach their desired goal. They are not slaves of their past. The word “quit” is not in their repertoire. It should not be in yours either. Yes, you will be knocked down at times. That means you will be down, but not out. What should you do? Get up and keep fighting.
Do not be a slave to your past. No matter how many times you have failed, no matter how many people have told you that you will not make it, keep on forging ahead and you will make it. No matter how many times you have sinned or how big the sins were, God will forgive you if you repent. If you find yourself thinking that God cannot forgive you, you are wrong. Simply repent, ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior (only if you have never done it before), ask God to forgive you and try not to keep on sinning.
The essence of this article is for you not to be a slave of your past or of sin. Every day is a new beginning. All you have to do is realize that the failures of your past or the sins you have committed are not the real you. You can have a fresh start as of this very moment. It is very possible that you may not be able to do it on your own. Ask God to help you, and He will. With God all things are possible (Mark 10:27) and all things are possible for the person who believes (Mark 9:23). Convince yourself that you are that person who believes, and your life will change for the better. God bless you! April 6, 2020

                                                                           NO SEAS ESCLAVO

YOU ARE NOT THE IMPOSTOR YOU
If you are like most people there is not just one you, but two; the real you and the impostor you. Unfortunately many people allow the impostor to take over their lives, and for that reason they live a mediocre life. They never reach their full potential. Let this article inspire you, so you will not be one of them.
As children most of us have potential and endless possibilities. However, potential and possibilities are just that. In order for them to become realities we have to believe in ourselves, have a plan, have a definite goal, work hard and not give up so that our dream can be fulfilled. If necessary we have to make some adjustments along the way, but the word “quit” cannot be part of our vocabulary.
Many people let the impostor take over because they listen to the naysayers. The latter can be parents, relatives, friends, or just people who enjoy putting others down. Who is the impostor? The impostor is the you who has listened to and believed people who have told you that you would never amount to anything, that you did not have what it takes, that you were not smart enough and that you are a loser.
The impostor you is also the one who, for one reason or another, has failed at something, and you have let that define your life. Just because you failed once, or failed at a particular thing does not make you a failure. Some of the most successful and famous people have failed many times, but they did not let that stop them. They knew who they were, and they kept on trying until they achieved the success they knew they could attain.
How important are you? You are so important that God made you in His own image (Genesis 1:26), and not only that, but He allowed His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to suffer, be crucified, die, and resurrect just to pay for your sins, so you could spend eternity with Him. That is how important you are to God. If you are that important to Him, you should be important to yourself.
Don’t let people tell you who you are or let them make you feel unimportant. You tell yourself who you are. You are a child of God, living in a great country, have endless potential, can accomplish whatever you set your mind to, and are important to your loved ones. No matter who we are, all of us have somebody who cares for us. Do not fall into the trap thinking that nobody loves you. God loves you, and so do other people. Some of those people may not even know you personally, but they are praying for you. I am one of them.
Do not let the impostor you be you. Let the real you come forth. You can make a difference in your own life, and in the lives of other people. Yes, other people need you to pray for them and to love them. Everybody needs to be loved and you and I are no exception. God bless you! If this article was a blessing to you in whatever way, let me know at 4/29/2020

Many people who we think will make it to heaven, and who they themselves think will make it to heaven will not. In Matthew 7:21-23, Jesus says: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” The religious leaders will be the ones who will tell God how much they have done for His kingdom.
Let us look at some of the reasons given in the scriptures why some evangelists, pastors and so-called good Christians will not make it to heaven. First of all, we have to realize that the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. There has never been, is not, and will never be a single human being who is good enough to enter the gates of heaven by his own merits. That is why in John 14:6, Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me.” No religion, good intentions, being a nice person nor any amount of good works can get us into heaven.
Many religious leaders are serving God for money, fame and the benefits. Some of them have airplanes, boats, several expensive automobiles, and houses that may be worth in the millions. Yet Jesus said that it would be extremely difficult for a wealthy person to have salvation. No, it is not impossible because their salvation depends on whether they have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and how they are using their money. In Matthew 19:23-24, Jesus told His disciples: “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
Some of our present-day religious leaders want and are treated as if they were some type of royalty. In Matthew 23:2-7, this is what Jesus had to say about the religious leaders of His time:
“The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do. For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments. They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’”
Some of the pastors, preachers and evangelists tell us to be frugal, but they are not. They tell us to give, but they do not. They preach for us to be humble, but they are anything but that. They tell us not to let the right hand know what the left hand is doing, but they advertise and publicize everything they do. They are no different than the religious leaders our Lord Jesus was mentioning.
God is righteous and He will judge the religious leaders and the rest of us according to His scriptures, in which are included the intent of our heart, our faith, our works, our obedience, and the amount of light we have. That being the case, the religious leaders will be judged harsher than the rest of us. In Luke 12:46-48, Jesus puts it this way: “The master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.” God will not judge a child the same as an adult nor will He judge an indigenous person the same as a well-educated one.
Jesus got mad because the money changers, and the people who were selling animals for the temple sacrifice were ripping off the public. Matthew 21:12-13 explains what Jesus said and did: “ Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ” If you watch Christian television, the pastors, preachers and evangelists are selling anything from books, special Bibles, CDs, DVDs, holy water, trips to Israel and even trips to Alaska. Some even promise miracles if you send them a certain amount of money. Jesus would probably call them “a bunch of robbers.” I am sure they feel that the end justifies the means, but I am not.
Unfortunately there will be many religious leaders in hell and later on in the lake of fire. That is because God knows their heart and the intent why they are serving Him. Do not get the wrong idea from this article; many good pastors and religious leaders will be in heaven. The reason is simple – they are serving God for the right reasons. There are many good people who truly love God, and are serving Him on their own time, with their own resources, and with their own money. Some of them are giving from their need. They will have treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:19-21), and will receive the crown of life when they get there.
By the way, you do not have to be a religious leader to spend eternity with God. All you have to do is repent, ask God to forgive you, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and become a new creation. Read the message on this blog entitled, “God Loves Us So Much.”

People are never satisfied, and the main reason is because the devil was behind that from the very beginning. In Ezekiel 28:15-16, the Bible says: “You (devil)were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you.“By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within, and you sinned; therefore I cast you as a profane thing out of the mountain of God; and I (GOD) destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the fiery stones.” The devil was made perfect, but then he went astray because he wanted more. He is a created being who wanted, wants now, and will always want to be like God. Of course that will never happen.
Adam and Eve had a perfect life in the garden of Eden. They even had communion with God on a daily basis, but that was not enough for them. They wanted more, so they disobeyed God and ate from the only tree He had told them not to eat, and they were cast out of paradise. In Genesis 3:17-19, the Bible explains it this way: “Then to Adam He (GOD) said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’: “Cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you shall return.”
Having perfect conditions, but not being satisfied the devil was the first one to fall into disobedience in heaven, and then he led Adam and Eve into disobedience here on earth. Their dissatisfaction led them to temptation, and temptation led them to disobedience on their part. From that point on the human race has been dissatisfied, has been tempted and has disobeyed God.
A person who is single wants to have a spouse, a couple who is childless wants to have a child, a couple who has children many times wish they were single, and so on. A person who has no means of transportation wishes he had a bicycle, while a person who only has a bicycle wishes he had a car, and a person who has a car wishes he also had a truck and so on. People are never satisfied.
There is always a positive side to just about everything. The positive side of people not being satisfied is that it keeps the economy moving. Many times people buy what they do not really need, but they want to keep up with the Joneses, and because they do, the economy is not stagnant. People have jobs because of it, and the cycle keeps on repeating itself.
This would be a much happier world if people learned how to be happy where they are, with whom they are, with their jobs, and with everything else. The apostle Paul found the perfect solution. In Philippians 4:11-13, he states: “Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content. I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” In other words, he learned how to be content under all circumstances.
Instead of being ungrateful and dissatisfied we have to learn to be content under all circumstances. That does not mean we have to stay stagnant. It only means to be happy while we are there. We definitely should have dreams, goals and objectives, but let’s take time to smell the roses along the way, and once we get to our final destination, let us rejoice and be exuberant.

GOOD NEWS FOR YOU IF YOU ARE AN ATHEIST
If you are an atheist, agnostic, evolution believer or a “big-bang believer,” then I have bad news for you. As you probably already know very well from nothing, nothing can come, so therefore something cannot come from nothing. That being the case even if “the big bang” did happen something had to trigger that action.
You may call the catalyst that supposedly started the big bang anything you like. I happen to know if it did happen, God would be the one who would have initiated it. The rationale for that is simple; God is the only entity that could have existed, and that is because He is sovereign, completely independent, self-sustaining, exists out of time (He created time) and able to do the impossible (Mark 10:27).
God had no beginning and will have no end. I will give you a few scriptures that explain exactly that: 1 Timothy 6:13 – “I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate.” God gave life to everything that exists. Nobody gave life to Him. 1 Timothy 1:17 – “Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.” God is eternal and immortal. He always existed, and He always will. Revelation 4:8 – “The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” God always existed, exists now, and will always exist.
Everything that now exists, with the exception of God, had a beginning. How did things, animals and people come to exist? God created everything from nothing with the exception of man. He created man from the dust that He had already created. Genesis 1:1 – “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 2:1-2 – “Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.”
Genesis 2:7-8 – “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed.” John 1:3 – “All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.”
Even if you do not believe the Bible, you should believe in God. Just look around you. Do you really think that life is a random accident. Every animal knows how to take care of itself and survive. Who taught them? Look at your own body.. Do you think everything fell in place by itself? Just about every animal has a male and female. Evolution had to be very intelligent in order to form a male and a female of every species.
Move the sun 10,000 miles away from us and we would freeze to death. Move it that same amount of miles closer and we would roast. Take gravity away from this planet and we would fly into space and die. Look at the galaxies and the universe how well planned they are, and then you will know it could not have happened by chance.
If you think this life is all there is, you are sadly mistaken. All of us will live eternally. The only question is…where will we spend eternity? There are only two places; heaven and hell.
Heaven is joy and happiness, while hell is torment by fire. You and you alone can choose where you want to spend eternity. If you choose nothing – hell is your place. If you choose heaven, heaven it will be.
All of us sin, and sin demands a penalty that somebody has to pay. Fortunately for you Jesus already paid the price for you. If you accept Him as your Lord and Savior, you are assuring that you will spend eternity with God, and not with the devil and his demons suffering in hell or the lake of fire. Get hold of a Bible and read John 3:3, John 14:6, John 3:15-17, and Romans 10:9. Those scriptures will give you a good understanding as to what salvation is, and how you can be saved.
If you want to make sure you are saved read the following prayer, and when you, more or less, understand it, pray it to God aloud in all sincerity, humility and truthfulness. God will hear you, make you His child and give you eternal life with Him. “Father God, in the name of Your Son Jesus, I repent of all my sins, I ask You to forgive me, as I believe and confess that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He suffered, shed His blood on the cross, died and resurrected to pay for my sins. I ask You to allow the Holy Spirit to live in me, to guide me and to protect me. Thank You Father. Amen.”
Come back to my blog on a weekly basis to learn more about God. If you prayed that prayer God heard you, and you are now on your way to heaven. Don’t let anybody lie to you. God is a forgiving God, and He has totally forgiven you. God bless you! Follow me on Facebook under Raul Ledesma. 4/8/20

                                                                     THE CORONA VIRUS
The Corona Virus started in China, and the Chinese kept it quiet until it got out of hand. Suddenly the virus began to spread worldwide because the people who were affected by it began to travel. For that reason in a matter of a few weeks it started to paralyze countries one by one. Nothing like that had ever been seen before, and hopefully that will never ever happen again.
Some people blame the Chinese and justifiably so, while some countries blame other countries. In most of the affected countries the people are even blaming their own governments. There is enough blame to go around, but regardless of who gets blamed the virus keeps on spreading even to the most remote places on this planet.
Whether you are aware or not this virus is a judgment from God. He is judging the world because people have moved farther and farther away from Him. The pendulum has swung one hundred and eighty degrees from the right to the left. What is correct is now called wrong, and what is incorrect is now called right. The standards no longer exist. Whatever people want to do, they do it, and they simply justify it.
The word that reigns every speech, declaration, decree, meeting, television program, movie, radio talk program, and so on is “tolerance,” and that tolerance is actually “intolerance.” If a person who still lives by godly standards says something against someone who is sinning openly in the name of “tolerance,” he or she is considered a bad person or an enemy. That person might lose his job, be fined, or even be jailed.
By calling right what is wrong, we are deceiving ourselves, maybe even others, but, one thing for sure is, we are not fooling God. God cannot be mocked, fooled or deceived (Galatians 6:7). The reason is simple; God knows, sees and hears everything. There is no way that we can pool the wool over His eyes.
If we the people, who are called by Christ’s name (Christians), would humble ourselves, would pray, would seek God’s face, and would turn from our wicked ways, then God would hear from heaven, would forgive our sins, and would heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14). Through His word, God is telling us what to do.
If you have read this article, repent of your sins, ask God to forgive you, receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and pray to God to bring an end to the Corona Virus by the 17th of April. God can do it because for Him all things are possible (Mark 10:27). April 1, 2020

WHERE THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY
You may have a dream, but it will not be fulfilled automatically. It will if certain conditions are present, and if you take the necessary action. What is holding you back from fulfilling your dream could be lack of money, where you live, your family, your health, lack of opportunity, your job or many other factors. Maybe you are holding yourself back.
There will always be obstacles in the way for you to fulfill your dream, but you have to be determined to overcome them. You have to have character, resolve, true grit, a positive attitude, a never-give-up way of thinking, and a way of seeing your dream come true from the very beginning. Yes, it is important to see the end result from the beginning.
When a contractor is about to build a twenty-story building, he not only has to know what the finished product will look like, but also how everything will function in it. He cannot forget about the plumbing, the electrical or anything else needed for the building to function properly. He should not improvise as the construction of the building moves along, but every step has to be planned in advance.
That same reasoning applies to you. You cannot try to fulfill your dream without having a plan. You must have plans with objectives and a final goal. If you do that, your plan will be a success. You may have a setback here or there, but if you have made up your mind that you will do it, you will eventually do it. Nothing will be able to stop you.
Many of the people who have had a deal of great success in one field or another have overcome many difficulties. They had a plan with definite objectives and a final goal. They would not be deter from accomplishing their dream by nobody or by anything. They were on a mission, and they were determined not to let anything keep them from fulfilling it. Some of them were extremely poor, others had physical impediments, and some of them were told they would never make it.
I could give you many examples of many famous people who succeeded against all odds, but instead I am going to tell you about a young girl who came from Colombia at 13 years old. Her family was very poor and none of them spoke any English whatsoever. As a favor I did the immigration paperwork for them, so they WHERE THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY

The young girl is now 29 years old and married to an engineer. She has several degrees and is practicing the law profession. Yes, she is a lawyer.
Everything seemed to be against the young girl succeeding, but she had, has, and will always have two solid things going for her; she believes in herself knowing that all things are possible for the person who believes in God (Mark 9:23) and has faith in God knowing and believing that with Him all things are possible (Mark 10:27).
You see, it is not what we can do, but rather what God can do working through us. We just have to be available and give it our best. God will do the rest. What keeps many people from fulfilling their dreams is that they feel sorry for themselves and make excuses. Excuses are exactly that. They are obstacles that should be overcome. If you have been making excuses, it is time to quit doing that, and to take the bull by the horns. Pray to God, make plans, and take action. The results will even astound you!
